The Electronic Village Online
Sessions are free and open to anyone around the globe. It is not necessary to attend the TESOL Convention in order to participate. All you need is access to the Internet. Choose a session from this year’s offerings, listed below. And please inform your colleagues about this unparalleled professional development opportunity!

EVO, the Electronic Village Online, is entirely organised by and for EFL teachers… For five weeks, from Jan 12 to Feb 15, 2015, English teachers throughout the world get together online around one of the subjects proposed by a team of teachers, and read, watch video clips, discuss their ideas, and “meet” others online, both asychronously (in a Google plus Community) and occasionally live online, in a webinar.
For a full list of the sessions proposed this year see http://evosessions.pbworks.com/w/page/10708567/FrontPage

You can do as much as you like, or a little as you can find time to do during those five weeks, from Jan 12 to Feb 15, 2015 – it’s entirely up to you, but obviously the more you put in, the more you learn! and it really is a great chance to start to use some of the online potential … lots of the teachers who join are new to all this online stuff too 😉

Check out our very own Roslyn Young (from University of Franche-Comté in Besançon,) and her team and see what they’ve cooked up for you in the session called “Teaching Pronunciation Differently”
Looking forward to seeing you online
Elizabeth Anne (member of the EVO coordinating committee)
